Fernando de Arriaga

Fernando de Arriaga, Doctor-Engineer (Civil) (Polytechnic Univ. of Madrid), Ph. D. in Computer Science (Stanford Univ.), Doctor in Math. (University Complutense). He has been Professor of Applied Mathematics (1970-2005) at the School of Telecommunication Engineering (Polytechnic University of Madrid). Since 2005 he is Emeritus Professor. His research interests are: knowledge-based systems and, more specifically, multi-agent systems and intelligent e-learning. He has also been General Director at the Spanish Ministry of Economics, and General Manager and Member of the Board at Burns & Roe Ltd.
